Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
I've always loved cooking. I've also grown my own vegetables for some years, and have even kept chickens! The kitchen is my happy place and I'm never more content than when our house is bursting full of friends and family, enjoying some delicious home cooked food.
Since I become a mummy in 2022, I decided I wanted to share this love of cooking with the next generation! After a very long and varied career in retail I decided to make the move to Cookstars. I am so excited to be sharing not only my passion for food, but teaching such an important skill to the children in my local community.

Sweet or savoury dishes, themed recipes - all self-contained and requiring the minimal of time, effort or involvement on the teacher's part
**Children are naturally creative. They are constantly investigating and experimenting in their cognitive development as they build up an understanding of how the world works and cooking brings about so many wonderful skills and opportunities. I love to watch children learn without them realising it!
Children get to learn so many skills through cooking such as problem solving, cause and effect, sequencing, counting, measuring, to name a few - plus they get to have so much fun! Our Cook Stars classes also helps children to build upon other important life skills, such as communication, independence, socialising and self esteem - watching their faces as they marvel at their finished creation is the best feeling!
