Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
I have a background in Nutrition, which helped me to learn about the benefits cooking from scratch, and how the right foods will benefit your health in huge ways.
I have been cooking meals for my large family and friends from the age of 13. I always knew I had a passion for food and creating new recipes, especially after having my daughter.
I am so excited to be sharing not only my passion for food, but teaching such an important skill to the children in my local community.

Sweet or savoury dishes, themed recipes - all self-contained and requiring the minimal of time, effort or involvement on the teacher's part
Children are naturally creative.
They are constantly investigating and experimenting in their cognitive development as they build up an understanding of how the world works and cooking brings about so many wonderful skills and opportunities. I love to watch children learn without them realising it!
Children get to learn so many skills through cooking such as problem solving, cause and effect, sequencing, counting, measuring, to name a few - plus they get to have so much fun! Our Cook Stars classes also helps children to build upon other important life skills, such as communication, independence, socialising and self esteem - watching their faces as they marvel at their finished creation is the best feeling!
