Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 19 years' experience and started with Cook Stars in September 2016. I devote all my love and time developing, nurturing and growing my wonderful cooking classes.
My husband Mike is a huge part of Cook Stars Worcester. He helps and supports all the daily running operations and works alongside me during the classes. He cooks the food and knows so much about ovens! AND he does ALL the washing-up!
I have a great passion for cooking and I am a complete 'foodie' I love experimenting with recipes and adding my own twist by 'pimping' old and traditional favourites. My mum and gran cooked and baked from scratch and encouraged me too. On Saturday evenings you would find me and my mum in the kitchen covered in flour after our mammoth baking sessions - indeed I was tagged with the nickname 'Cookie' from a very early age!
I am so thrilled that I can give children the opportunity to experience the wonder of food and cooking. It's fantastic to see children preparing food and cooking with us - it's a recipe for magic to happen! - as well as gaining a life-long skill and I am loving being part of that!
