Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
Before joining Cook Stars, I was an Economic Crime Operations Manager but after a 13 year career in banking, I have chosen to move on to something that is much closer to my heart – sharing my love of food and passion for cooking with others!
I am fascinated by food & nutrition and truly believe that understanding the basics of food and cooking is such a valuable life skill so, to be able to share my knowledge and passion for cooking with children makes me incredibly happy.
I come from an ‘allergy family’ and follow a gluten-free diet myself, for medical reasons. While making a big change to diet and lifestyle is a challenge, I have found that it has been an opportunity to learn more about food, discover alternatives and be a bit more creative with dishes! I am confident with being able to avoid allergens in foods for safety and use alternative ingredients to replicate taste and texture. I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge with others and help them find an easier way in to making allergen changes in their diet which has been really rewarding.
