Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
I live in North Dorset with my Husband and my 2 little dogs. I have worked for many years as a full time Norland Nanny in the UK and Internationally and also in schools as a residential housemistress.
Working as a nanny for many years, I have always been passionate about providing healthy meals for the children in my care. I have always enjoyed baking with children and seeing how rewarding it is for them to learn new skills, have fun and enjoy being creative in the kitchen.
Joining Cook Stars has enabled me to combine two things I love, working with children and baking!
I loved cooking with my mum when I was little, always baking and having fun in the kitchen. Family mealtimes were really important growing up. Mum was always at home when we came back from school with a hot meal and a warm hug!
I enjoy making all kinds of foods and cakes - especially soups, stews and Italian style menus! When I’m not in the kitchen, I love to swim, practice yoga, walk with my dogs in the countryside, and go to my Bounce Box and keep fit classes.
I look forward to meeting your children, and helping them create new and exciting dishes!

They are constantly investigating and experimenting in their cognitive development as they build up an understanding of how the world works and cooking brings about so many wonderful skills and opportunities. I love to watch children learn without them realising it!
Children get to learn so many skills through cooking such as problem solving, cause and effect, sequencing, counting, measuring, to name a few - plus they get to have so much fun! Our Cook Stars classes also helps children to build upon other important life skills, such as communication, independence, socialising and self esteem - watching their faces as they marvel at their finished creation is the best feeling!
