Cook Stars

My two passions are food and horses and after a while out of Catering, I am looking forward to getting back in the kitchen.

I moved to Devon over 10 years ago and haven't looked back, I love Exmoor and being so close to the different beaches. Whilst here I have worked for a Vegetarian and Vegan food specialist, as a Sales Representative for a Dairy company and recently as a Kitchen Designer, Cook Stars is my next adventure.

Before I moved to Devon, I worked in School Catering which gave me the holidays to help my friends with their children, some of which are now taller than me! This I found really rewarding whether I was cooking for them as a family or doing some baking with the children. I like to let them do as much of it themselves as possible and love seeing how much they enjoy it.

Whilst I was furloughed, I was lucky enough to have a horse and a dog to keep me motivated. The rest of the time I cooked for people, leaving doorstep deliveries of cakes and quiches and even a birthday buffet complete with cake and party decorations.

Cooking has always been a big part of my life and I think it is a very important life skill in so many ways.
