Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
I am a qualified Primary School teacher with over 10 years' experience of working in schools. I have always enjoyed using as much practical activities as possible when teaching children, so I am very excited to be now running children's cookery classes.
I am currently teaching Mini and Junior classes to children aged 2 - 11 years old and it has been a joy to see these children develop in so many different ways.
Cooking is an activity every child can take part in, gain confidence in themselves and in what they can achieve. Learning how to cook incorporates so many areas of learning and it is such an important life skill. By being involved in the cooking process, it also encourages children to start making healthy choices, which is so important to their health and well being.
I am really looking forward to working with your school and organisation!

We have been doing Zoom classes with Rochelle since mid January. My son absolutely loves his Saturday mornings, and his cooking lesson, his skills have grown so much in the last few weeks and his confidence with doing things himself.
Rochelle is so welcoming to everyone and the extra crafts are lovely and well thought out.
I wasn't sure how my son would do with zoom classes but Rochelle has kept him engaged every week! We love our Cookstars lessons!

My daughter and I are having the best time at Cook stars with Rochelle. I can't believe how many skills my 2 year old has picked up, chopping, grating, measuring out to name a few. She loves trying new foods which has been a delightful shock! She now goes round our house sniffing and naming foods. We always enjoy our sessions and that is very much down to Rochelle's kind, fun & approachable nature. Thank you so much!

My daughter has loved the zoom cooking classes. We have been doing them since January and Rochelle has been brilliant at engaging her in the class and encouraging her to be more independent with her cooking skills. The recipes are so varied and my daughter has enjoyed making and eating lots of different foods. Rochelle provides a lovely craft each week to complete whilst things are baking and Rochelle is great at getting all the children to engage with each other. The sessions are so well run and we really enjoy each class!

My 10yr old daughter, Jenny has been doing the Junior Cook Stars classes since August. She loves the independence of making her own meals and desserts, following Rochelle's instructions. Jenny has even tried several new foods which she wouldn't have tried before. Highly recommend.
