Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
For me, cooking is fun, creative and sociable and I love the way that food brings people together. I’m passionate about children having a healthy, balanced and fun ‘friendship’ with food and developing cooking skills which can last a life time.
A favourite part of my job is seeing the seemingly little things being the big things – a child enjoying a food they thought they’d hate and then having the confidence to try more foods or getting a huge sense of achievement from chopping a carrot when they thought it would be too difficult. I love the ear to ear grins when children see the meal they made come out of the oven!
I also enjoy cooking with children and their families in a variety of different ways, from weekly classes, cooking in schools, holiday workshops and parties to working with home educated children, community groups, charities, nurseries and one to one lessons.
