Cook Stars offers structured sessions that centre around children making their own delicious dishes from scratch
Hello. My name is Jess and, prior to starting my journey with the cook stars franchise, I was a primary school teacher for 15 years.
My adventure with Cook stars combines teaching, hosting events and a love good food in the best ways possible.
I believe learning to cook is not only an essential life skill in itself, but is a vehicle for so much other learning. In sessions children expand their vocabulary, build fine motor skills, observe how substances combine and change, count, weigh, measure, explore, learn about healthy eating and so much more.
Cooking builds independence, confidence and resilience. It's another opportunity for children to find something in life they really enjoy and are good at.
I'd love to help the children at your school or organisation on their cooking journey with much of the stress removed. Let me worry about the shopping, the recipes, the equipment, the trouble shooting and the clearing away afterwards.
I am available for a wide range of events, including running sessions in out of school clubs and groups for all ages. I can support knowledgeably with the delivery of curriculum in school or nursery settings.
