I am a qualified secondary school teacher and SENCO with over 20 years experience. I started with Cook Stars in September 2022 and enjoy bringing fun and enthusiasm to my classes.
My whole family love food and cooking. I enjoy baking all kinds of tasty treats but cakes are my favourite! It is no surprise that my mum made wedding cakes, so I suppose it is in my genes. At weekends my house is full of flour and eggs and a very content husband, who is chief taster. I love entertaining and am passionate about baking for family and friends, tweaking and personalising recipes to make them special.
I love art and being creative. When I am not cooking for fun, my go to is a paint brush. I am also a keen animal lover and have cats and rabbits at home. Weekly I go swimming to try and burn off the calories from all of the cakes I make!
I have spent over 20 years teaching children in traditional school settings. I love teaching and passing on key skills and knowledge. I am excited to now be able to offer children a fun learning experience where they can explore a love of food and creativity while gaining important life skills. I love what I do so much it doesn't feel like a job.
I look forward to welcoming you to my classes, workshops and parties very soon!

Our pre-school classes are designed with our littlest chefs in mind. With a little helping hand from you, each week we make recipes which encourage children to get stuck in! Cook Stars Juniors
Our classes are very hands-on with everyone making their own dish from scratch!
Every week we make something different with inspiration taken from dishes around the world. With a selection of gorgeous sweet and savoury dishes each week there is plenty of opportunity to learn about different ingredients. With such a variety of dishes we try plenty of different preparation techniques....from icing to dicing we do it all! Find out more

Academy Classes
Cook Stars Academy Classes are suitable for young learners and teens aged 11-17 years old.
Our hands on practical classes teach a variety of techniques and build confidence in the kitchen week on week. Every week we cook something different with a mixture of main courses and puddings. We cook a great variety of foods, for example Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican dishes as well as pies, cakes and puddings. Find out more
