Wow! I can’t believe that I am embarking on a career which brings my 2 passions together, these being teaching and cooking! Having been a Primary school teacher for nearly 20 years I felt that the time was right to try something different and take on a new challenge. Cook Stars seemed the perfect opportunity where I can cook and work with children at the same time. In fact it feels like a dream coming true.
My favourite memories either stem back to being a little girl in the kitchen cooking with my mum and my sister or to being on family holidays trying new and interesting foods. Now my own sons love to cook with me and my husband ‘enjoys’ cleaning up the mess!
I have always jumped at the opportunity to get cooking when in the classroom but found this tricky when having to share limited equipment between large groups of eager and enthusiastic children. I can’t wait to be able to give children, in the Vale of Glamorgan area, the chance to experience cooking where they will benefit from having their own cooking station and the use of expert equipment, whilst acquiring skills that will sustain them for a lifetime.
I look forward to welcoming everyone in the Vale of Glamorgan to my classes, workshops and parties and creating some amazing, tasty food and happy memories with you all.

Cook Stars Juniors
Our classes are very hands-on with everyone making their own dish from scratch!
Every week we make something different with inspiration taken from dishes around the world. With a selection of gorgeous sweet and savoury dishes each week there is plenty of opportunity to learn about different ingredients. With such a variety of dishes we try plenty of different preparation techniques....from icing to dicing we do it all! Find out more

Academy Classes
Cook Stars Academy Classes are suitable for young learners and teens aged 11-17 years old.
Our hands on practical classes teach a variety of techniques and build confidence in the kitchen week on week. Every week we cook something different with a mixture of main courses and puddings. We cook a great variety of foods, for example Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican dishes as well as pies, cakes and puddings. Find out more
