I simply love cooking, even as I'm typing this up, my mind is already wandering to what delectable delights I'll be whipping up for tea time!
Growing up, I was actually quite a fussy eater, hard to believe now, so I can vividly remember what it was like to feel nervous about trying new foods. But I also know the enormous sense of achievement that comes from creating something from scratch that you genuinely want to eat. That transformative experience fuelled my lifelong love of the culinary arts and I'm now a passionate home-cook There's nothing that brings me more joy than gathering family and friends around the table to share in a delightful spread.
I'm a proud mum to my 11-year-old son, Jack, who is thrilled to join me in this new chapter as the owner of Cook Stars Plymouth Central and he can't wait to roll up his sleeves and help out. When we're not busy in the kitchen, you'll find us out on adventures in our campervan around Devon and Cornwall, or spending quality time with family and friends.
I also love exploring the ever-growing diversity of Plymouth's vibrant food scene, discovering new places to eat and indulge my passion for fine dining. Now, I'm really looking forward to getting more involved in my local community through Cook Stars.
I believe cooking is a vital life skill that encourages healthy, balanced eating, especially when learned from a young age and I'm delighted to be able to support you and your children on your culinary adventures. Let me take care of the logistics - the shopping, recipe planning, equipment, and clean-up - so you can simply come together and enjoy the experience.
It would be my pleasure to welcome you to the classes, workshops, and celebrations at Cook Stars Plymouth Central. I can't wait for you to join me on this exciting journey.

Our pre-school classes are designed with our littlest chefs in mind. With a little helping hand from you, each week we make recipes which encourage children to get stuck in! Cook Stars Juniors
Our classes are very hands-on with everyone making their own dish from scratch!
Every week we make something different with inspiration taken from dishes around the world. With a selection of gorgeous sweet and savoury dishes each week there is plenty of opportunity to learn about different ingredients. With such a variety of dishes we try plenty of different preparation techniques....from icing to dicing we do it all! Find out more

Academy Classes
Cook Stars Academy Classes are suitable for young learners and teens aged 11-17 years old.
Our hands on practical classes teach a variety of techniques and build confidence in the kitchen week on week. Every week we cook something different with a mixture of main courses and puddings. We cook a great variety of foods, for example Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican dishes as well as pies, cakes and puddings. Find out more

If you're looking for something different for a birthday treat this year then a Cook Stars party is the answer! We know how important it is for children (and their parents!) to have a special day and our parties ensure a memorable birthday for all.
