Hi my name is Sara Butler and I own Cook stars Newport-Ebbw Vale and Monmouthshire where I teach children through fun cooking classes for the area covering postcodes in-between Newport, Torfaen, Ebbw Vale and Monmouthshire.

I love working with Cook Stars, my passion is all things food, cooking with it, baking for my colleagues and trying out new recipes on my husband. We married in September 2018 and spent part of our honeymoon in a bakery baking a birthday cake!
My love of the kitchen comes from my Mum and Grandma, one of my earliest memories is standing on a wooden stool licking out a ceramic bowl full of delicious cake mix! Mum passed her love of cooking and baking, there is not a time when her kitchen wasn't full of delicious smells.
My other passion in life is travelling, I love visiting local restaurants and learning about the local delicacies. My very favourite foodie place (so far) is Florence in Italy, although the Maltese bread from a tiny bakery in Rabbat, Malta was pretty special as well.
I live in Cwmbran with my husband and Patterdale Terrier called Bailey who is my official mascot and wears his Cook Stars bandana with pride, you can often see me driving my Cook Stars red van around the area-give me a wave if you do!

Our pre-school classes are designed with our littlest chefs in mind. With a little helping hand from you, each week we make recipes which encourage children to get stuck in! Cook Stars Juniors
Our classes are very hands-on with everyone making their own dish from scratch!
Every week we make something different with inspiration taken from dishes around the world. With a selection of gorgeous sweet and savoury dishes each week there is plenty of opportunity to learn about different ingredients. With such a variety of dishes we try plenty of different preparation techniques....from icing to dicing we do it all! Find out more

Cook Stars Academy Classes are suitable for young learners and teens aged 11-17 years old.
Our hands on practical classes teach a variety of techniques and build confidence in the kitchen week on week. Every week we cook something different with a mixture of main courses and puddings. We cook a great variety of foods, for example Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican dishes as well as pies, cakes and puddings. Find out more

More people now than ever need to access emergency food through food banks and other support services and are facing daily challenges.
The Fed Line Project aims to help people facing financial crisis by supporting them though cookery and practical help at the earliest stage possible.
We offer shorter term help as well as providing a programme that aims to help longer-term.
