I have spent the last 24 years working in the world of community sport, education and charity sector and have a huge amount of experience working with children and young people in a variety of settings. I have a deep love for food and cooking and am passionate about working with children and young people to develop their character and life skills and see cooking as an essential part of this. I am super excited about combining both passions!

I am a firm believer that every child and young person should be able to cook the basics as it is such an important life skill and covers so many areas of learning. It also encourages children to start making healthy choices and gain confidence in themselves and in what they can achieve.

Having two daughters myself I understand the importance of teaching children not just how to cook, but how to enjoy the process and appreciate the value of nutritious, homemade meals. I love to spend time with them both in the kitchen whether that’s making cakes, fresh pasta or preparing the family meal. That’s why I’m so excited to offer this unique opportunity for your children to explore, create, and build their confidence in the kitchen.

Through our hands-on cooking classes, workshops and parties, children will learn not only how to prepare delicious meals but also gain confidence, develop teamwork skills, and discover the joys of healthy eating. I am committed to providing a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where every child can explore their culinary curiosity while having a blast in the kitchen!

Outside of work I enjoy the gym, spending time in Norfolk with my wife Jen, our daughters Niamh and Isla and Willow the Cockapoo! You will often find me kayaking and paddle boarding on the Norfolk coast before tucking into a homemade pizza or lighting up the BBQ!

I’m super excited to be a part of the Cook Stars family and look forward to helping children to become budding young chefs develop skills that they will hold on to for a lifetime.
