Growing up I always had a passion for food and loved cooking and baking. I have many lovely memories baking with my Nanna at the weekends.
I pursued this love with studying food and consumer studies at university. This led me to Food Technologist roles in product development in the food industry working on chilled desserts and cakes; a particular highlight for me was developing a new traditional sponge pudding range for Marks and Spencer.
I also spent a number of years working for a cooking appliance manufacturer – I managed a team working on cooking performance, and writing instruction manuals and cook books. More recently I’ve worked in food policy for the Food Standards Agency.
I live with my husband and three children. The kitchen is the hub of our house, and is my favourite room, where I thrive on sharing my love for cooking with my family. My middle daughter and I are quite a dream team making celebration cakes together for family and friends.
When my children were little I ran a toddler group, and loved organising art and craft activities. I’ve previously run demos and workshops for both adults and children.
In my spare time you can find me at my sewing machine or crafting with my friends. I love being hands on, and seeing little ones getting creative and cooking from scratch.
I’m so excited to be starting my Cook Stars journey, and I can’t wait to welcome you and your children to my classes and workshops!

Cook Stars Juniors
Our classes are very hands-on with everyone making their own dish from scratch!
Every week we make something different with inspiration taken from dishes around the world. With a selection of gorgeous sweet and savoury dishes each week there is plenty of opportunity to learn about different ingredients. With such a variety of dishes we try plenty of different preparation techniques....from icing to dicing we do it all! Find out more

Academy Classes
Cook Stars Academy Classes are suitable for young learners and teens aged 11-17 years old.
Our hands on practical classes teach a variety of techniques and build confidence in the kitchen week on week. Every week we cook something different with a mixture of main courses and puddings. We cook a great variety of foods, for example Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican dishes as well as pies, cakes and puddings. Find out more
