Cook Stars

I have spent more than twenty years working in education and I can honestly say that teaching is one of my greatest passions, be it with a group of excitable pre-schoolers or highly driven adults. Having taught across various curriculum areas, and equally varied age ranges, I have had the privilege to work with so many incredible people who have all added their bit of 'sparkle' to the 'Me' I am today, and I am so grateful to each of them.

A little over ten years ago, I decided to broaden the base of my teaching in Psychology and Early Years and qualified as a Montessori teacher, which introduced me to a world that can only be described as magical. Working with young children, watching them learn and grow has been one of the greatest joys of my life. While circumstances (otherwise known as 'Life') at the time meant it was a short-lived experience, the imprint every one of those 'littlees' has left in me is, and will always be, an immeasurable blessing.

I love travelling, learning new things and experiencing different cultures, especially trying new foods. Yes, I too am a real 'foodie'. Much of my time is spent in my kitchen cooking and baking all sorts. I love all things food-related - eating, cooking and baking, watching cooking and baking programmes on TV, YouTube, anywhere really!

Cook Stars feels like a dream where my job is to literally do all my favourite things - only it's very real, and I love it!
