I am a mum of 3 children. I am also a nutritional advisor and a fitness coach, striving to encourage a positive relationship with food. My decision to take the leap to join Cook Stars came in the midst of Lockdown. I was working fulltime in a corporate job with two small children at the time, one of which I was trying to home school.

Cooking has always been an activity I have turned to when I have needed to de-stress and I find that it has the same soothing effects on the children. I discovered that cooking is a great way of interacting with them whilst also teaching them key skills such as counting, problem solving, communication, team work, coordination and much more!

I believe in the benefits of teaching children to cook. There are so many skills that are transferrable to everyday life. From my own experience I have witnessed my children's confidence grow. They are now more willing to try and explore new tastes. Their vocabulary has developed from discussions around cooking.

Providing a safe, fun environment for children to express themselves is a key motivation for me. These classes offer experiences that the children can take home with them and share with their families.

I am very excited to be involved in bringing Cook Stars to our area. I look forward to welcoming you all into one of the many classes, parties and workshops soon.
